John Legg has been appointed as director of RNIB Scotland.
Whilst working previously with Glasgow City Council's Social Work
Department, he played a leading role in developing Europe's first radio
station specifically serving blind and partially sighted listeners, VIP On
Air. The joint Glasgow City and RNIB Scotland project has recently
been awarded a community service license. Speaking of his appointment, Mr
Legg said: "I look forward to RNIB Scotland expanding the services it
provides for blind and partially sighted people and being even more
effective in campaigning for their civil and welfare rights."
