An opportunity has arisen to join the
Cairngorms Outdoors Access Trust to deliver
outdoors access projects in the West
Cairngorms. The work will be challenging
and exciting, with a diverse range of
project work to be carried out. Contracts
are to be delivered to upgrade, repair and
build new paths, develop interpretation
projects, and develop standards in access
infrastructure. The post will initially be
based in Aviemore.
Applicants should have sound technical
experience of path construction project
work, knowledge of the relevant health,
safety and environment statutory framework
and experience of working with community
groups.
The post-holder will be expected to work
closely with community groups, landowners,
site managers and other stakeholders so good
interpersonal skills will be required. Some
weekend and evening work will be required
form time to time.
