Access to Democracy Seminars

 

Inclusion Scotland in partnership with Leonard Cheshire Disability Citizenship Academy will also be hosting two seminars around the theme of ‘Access to Democracy’.  These will take place in Lanarkshire and the Lothian’s and are open to disabled people, and those working in disability organisations, from all across Scotland –

·        Wednesday 27th May 2009, 4pm – 6pm at South Lanarkshire Disability Forum, 42 Campbell Street, Hamilton ML3 6AS.

·        Thursday 28th May 2009, 5.30pm – 7.30pm at Midlothian Voluntary Action, 4/6 White Hart Street, Dalkeith EH22 1AE.

 Both seminars will be informal and relaxed to give disabled people a chance to discuss access to democracy, citizenship and the upcoming European elections. 

 

A small buffet, wine, tea and coffee will be available.  Travel expenses and any other costs can be met.
