Scottish Disability
Equality Forum is a user-led membership organisation
which works across Scotland to remove barriers to full
social inclusion of people affected by disability.
SDEF is also the umbrella body for Access Panels in
Scotland.
This blog has been created for members and
non-members to network, share views and experiences and
encourage best practice.
Guide to
Using the Blog
1. Administrators
SDEF staff are the administrators of the blog. Only
administrators can can add a new post to begin a
thread of conversation.
2. Users
Anyone can access the blog and leave a comment
underneath a post.
3. Posts
Posts are added to the blog by the administrators to
update users on current developments, to find out
users' views on various issues and to encourage
debate and the sharing of experiences between users.
If a user wishes a new post to be added to the blog
on a particular topic, they are encouraged to email
the administrators with their idea.
4. Comments
Users are encouraged to comment on posts.
Comments will be sent to the administrators before
they are published.
Since the blog is designed for networking and the
sharing of knowledge, please leave your name - do
not make comments anonymously. Once comments are
approved by the administrators, they will appear on
the blog.
5. Content
The blog is designed to enable networking and
knowledge sharing. Debate on issues of relevance is
encouraged. However, any comments that are deemed to
be offensive shall not be published on the blog.
